			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In an age where we find that <strong>modern web design</strong> and development becoming more and more important we also realise that the quality of our work is the number one priority. Even the smallest of business need a <strong>good website</strong> to retain their current customers. It also helps their current customers to quickly find contact numbers, email address and directions to the offices of the company. Not to mention that it would help current clients refer friends directly to the website thereby increasing <strong>word of mouth marketing</strong> which to date remains the best <em>source of marketing</em> for any type of business.</p>
<p><span id="more-945"></span></p>
<p><strong>Small business websites</strong> do not necessarily have to be expensive or explicitly large. Selling your product and or service to the client or potential client is what matters the most and therefore the web site should be directly to the point and focus on the needs and analysis of what the client expects.</p>
<p>There are numerous ways that a <strong>small business web site</strong> can be <em>developed</em> and <em>designed</em> and then, once completion of design and all touch ups are made, the marketing can begin. Including <strong>marketing techniques</strong> such as <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://www.searchengineoptimization.za.net" title="Search Engine Optimization" ><strong>Search Engine Optimization</strong></a>, <strong><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://www.socialpr.co.za" title="Social Media Marketing and Optimization with Social Public Relations" >Social Media Marketing and Optimization</a>,</strong> <a target="_blank" href="http://www.adwordsadvertising.co.za/" title="Managed Google AdWords Advertising Campaigns" ><strong>Managed Google AdWords Campaigns</strong></a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://www.internetadvertiseonline.za.net" title="Banner Advertising" ><strong>Banner Advertising</strong></a> can all help make the company more visible and desirable to potential clients.</p>

<p><em>Marketing</em> is a very important aspect of all <em>business</em> whether they are large or small. Gone are the days when business cards were necessary. Today people just throw them away! Rather choose a <em>simple</em> and <em>easy domain name</em> to remember and just tell people or email it to them. You could also make <em>small stickers, fridge magnets, pens, calendars</em> and the like for <em>promotion</em> of your <strong>website</strong> and your <em>business</em> both <span style="text-decoration: underline;">online and offline</span>. These are all <span style="text-decoration: underline;">affordable techniques</span> that ensure that you can make the most of your business efforts and become more <em>acquainted</em> with the marketing of your business.</p>
<p>If you decide that you would like your business to at least have a <strong>domain name</strong> then you should talk to a <strong>web designer</strong> and or <strong>developer</strong> to have it <strong>registered</strong> for you so that you can then go ahead and start using an email address at your <strong>personalised domain name</strong>. It is very unprofessional to be using an email address for a provider like Gmail or Yahoo! for your business purposes.</p>
<p><!--/* OpenX Javascript Tag v2.8.3 */--></p>
<p><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[

'&amp;charset='+document.characterSet : ''));    document.write ("&amp;loc=" + escape(window.location));    if (document.referrer) document.write ("&amp;referer=" + escape(document.referrer));    if (document.context) document.write ("&#038;context=" + escape(document.context));    if (document.mmm_fo) document.write ("&amp;mmm_fo=1");    document.write ("'><\/scr"+"ipt>");
//

<p>A <strong>professional web designer and developer</strong> would be able to properly ensure that you get all the right information that you need to make your <em>business presence online</em> a <strong>successful one</strong>. If finances are low then you could negotiate a <em>payment plan</em> with your <strong>web developer</strong> and ensure that you get the work that you need done on your website fully up to date.</p>
<p>The information provided here is the opinion of me and I am delighted to say that whenever I develop a site for clients I find that they are completely satisfied because they know that they are getting their monies worth.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is how I would describe <strong>affordable </strong>or <strong>cheap web design; simple, cheap, yet elegant and useful.</strong> I think that it is essential for people to understand that they will get what they pay for. Many <strong>web developers</strong> have no clue what they are doing especially in this country yet they pass themselves off as professionals. No web developer would hide any sort of information from you. Things like page titles will not be marked as “page1” or “Untitled” etc. neither will the page titles be monotonous. If you find your website in this condition you know that you have dealt with a clueless person who is chancing at you and has used you for your hard earned money.</p>
<p><span id="more-903"></span></p>
<p>There are many factors that influence a <strong>simple page design.</strong> The most important factor that I would personally focus on would be the information that is presented and the fact that this information needs to be clear, concise and to the point. People online want immediate information not fancy <strong>designs </strong>and flashing nonsense that takes ages to load. They want the deliverables, they want your <strong>service </strong>and or <strong>product</strong>, and they want YOU.</p>
<p><!--/* OpenX Javascript Tag v2.8.3 */--></p>
<p><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
//<![CDATA[
   var m3_u = (location.protocol=='https:'?'https://www.proniit.za.net/www/delivery/ajs.php':'http://www.proniit.za.net/www/delivery/ajs.php');
   var m3_r = Math.floor(Math.random()*99999999999);
   if (!document.MAX_used) document.MAX_used = ',';
   document.write ("<scr"+"ipt type='text/javascript' src='"+m3_u);    document.write ("?zoneid=1");    document.write ('&amp;cb=' + m3_r);    if (document.MAX_used != ',') document.write ("&amp;exclude=" + document.MAX_used);    document.write (document.charset ? '&amp;charset='+document.charset : (document.characterSet ? '&amp;charset='+document.characterSet : ''));    document.write ("&amp;loc=" + escape(window.location));    if (document.referrer) document.write ("&amp;referer=" + escape(document.referrer));    if (document.context) document.write ("&#038;context=" + escape(document.context));    if (document.mmm_fo) document.write ("&amp;mmm_fo=1");    document.write ("'><\/scr"+"ipt>");
//
// ]]&gt;</script><noscript><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://www.proniit.za.net/www/delivery/ck.php?n=acf0b38c&amp;cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE"  target='_blank'><img src='http://www.proniit.za.net/www/delivery/avw.php?zoneid=1&amp;cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE&amp;n=acf0b38c' border='0' alt='' /></a></noscript></p>
<p>Try as you may, you will always find that <strong>simple websites</strong> that produce easy to understand informational and smaller scale pictures will get better rankings, better results and more sales. Many small businessmen and women do not seem to understand this and they would argue with the experience of a web developer. Remember that eye-catching design can be done using simple colour combinations. Pictures are sometimes not even necessary unless you are showing a product.</p>
<p>Having a <strong>cheap </strong>and <strong>effective website</strong> can help <strong>small companies</strong> grow exponentially and ignite a flow of income that will surely bring the company in question the type of results that they expect.</p>
<p>Clients seem to ignore the advice from <strong>web designers</strong> and eventually when the <strong>web site </strong>doesn’t work they want to blame the <strong>web designer</strong> instead of admitting to their own mistakes and taking full responsibility for it.</p>
<p>Companies that do not have immediate access to finance can negotiate with a <strong>web development firm</strong> to make payment arrangements in certain ways as agreed to by both parties and then a full website can be designed and developed.</p>
<p>Another important thing to remember is that <strong>web development and design</strong> are completely different fields. Most web developers would “hand code” their web sites meaning that they would program every line in a web site by themselves using a simple text editor such as MS Notepad.</p>
<p>However, there are plenty of both open source and proprietary software packages that can help both designers and developers make their coding processes much easier and fundamentally increase turnaround time for clients.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have all heard about using WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS) at some point or the other. Some laugh at this pointing out that WordPress was never built for use as a CMS and therefore will never be able to fully function as worthy CMS Site. After doing just a little bit of digging online, it actually becomes apparent that many people have used WP as a fully functional, scalable and complete CMS implementation. This incudes the US car giant Ford.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://proniit.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Recommended-WordPress-Plugins-CMS-Implementation.png"  rel="shadowbox[post-677];player=img;" title="Recommended-WordPress-Plugins-CMS-Implementation"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-679" title="Recommended-WordPress-Plugins-CMS-Implementation" src="http://proniit.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Recommended-WordPress-Plugins-CMS-Implementation.png" alt="Recommended-WordPress-Plugins-CMS-Implementation" width="640" height="260" /></a></p>
<p>There so many plugins to choose from in the WordPress directory. Plus, a simple search on Google will reveal that there are so many more that are not in fact listed on the WP directory. This becomes overwhelming to anyone looking on. So I decided to make a little bit of time to write about the best WP plugins to add CMS Functionality to WP. (Notice: I didn&#8217;t say &#8216;CMS like functionality&#8230;&#8217;). This very much will change your WP installation into something rather outstanding.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Building an HTML WYSIWYG editor oriented <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Windows Form</span> application on .NET Framework could never been simpler. You are a .NET Developer, looking for a WYSIWYG editor control that will take / return HTML string and you want that your application should run on .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.x, right ? You have landed to the right place. SpiceLogic offers you a highly efficient .NET WYSIWYG editor control for <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Windows Forms</span> which GETs and SETs Html string. You can use this control for developing windows applications like Web Page Content editor, full Web Page editor, email message composer or any application that uses a rich formatted text editor for your user. The control comes with 2 special value properties, &#8220;BodyHtml&#8221; and &#8220;DocumentHtml&#8221;. The BodyHtml Gets/Sets the partial html content like &lt;b&gt; Hello World&lt;/b&gt;. The DocumentHtml Gets/Sets the whole html document which can be used for a full web page like &lt;html&gt;&lt;head&gt;&lt;/head&gt;&lt;body&gt;&lt;b&gt; Hello World &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/body&gt;&lt;/html&gt;</p>
<p>The editor comes with many HTML editing tools. You can customize all of the items in the toolbars. Even if you do not want to use the default factory items and instead use your own, this control provides you a user friendly interface to build your own toolbar items. All the factory items are fully customizable. Moreover, all toolbar item functionalities can be implemented externally using the rich set of public methods. This time you do not need to be bothered about localization. You can customize all the texts and replace the factory provided dialogues with your own dialogues in your own language! It is highly optimized for Windows Vista 64 bit operating systems. Html value properties are optimized for Data Binding. It is featured with many useful public properties, methods, and events. A good spell checker is just built in there. Also body style can be edited using a rich GUI CSS editor, which is available both in Design time and run time.</p>
<p><span id="more-665"></span></p>
<p><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
 google_ad_client = "pub-1580129458799088"; /* 336x280, created 6/29/09 */ google_ad_slot = "0289477569"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280;
// ]]&gt;</script><br />
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></p>
<p><strong>Highlights</strong><br />
<strong>Base and Relative URL support:</strong><br />
This control is highly suitable for HTML documents that have Relative Urls in it&#8217;s resource&#8217;s path reference. So, now you can show an image in the editor simply with the following tag : &lt;img src=&#8221;myImage.jpg&#8221; /&gt;. The control comes with a property named &#8220;BaseUrl&#8221;. You need to set that property to the image folder or internet url. So, Guess What !! You can ship your application to your user&#8217;s pc where you simply change the BaseUrl programmatically so that the images can be shown in any of your user&#8217;s PC.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Spell Checker:</strong><br />
This control is featured with a spellchecker. You can use your own dictionaries with the spellchecker.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Searching API:</strong><br />
Searching API is included with the control. You can use the default searching dialogue or you can implement the search dialogue yourself.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Customizable interface:</strong><br />
This control comes up with two factory toolbars, with many rich toolbar items. They are perfect enough to do almost all of your editing task. Also you can customize them. Even if you do not want to use them and instead use your own toolbar items, you can also do that.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Design mode and source mode:</strong><br />
There are two editing modes available. WYSIWYG design mode and Raw Html source mode which will give you a complete control over the HTML content.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Events:</strong><br />
Two featued events are worth mentioning. <strong><em>Pasting</em></strong> event and <strong><em>HTMLChanged</em></strong> event. Guess What !! You can intercept the Pasting event and manipulate the pasting content from ClipBoard and apply your filter logic. Very much useful for filtering MS Word content while pasting. HTMLChanged event, fires as soon as the html is changed, similar to TextChanged property of a TextBox Control. Also you can change the default behavior of the loading and saving HTML to the editor to your needs.<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Methods:</strong></p>
<p>Lots of useful methods are there like getting or setting caret positions, scroll positions, GetPlainText() method. GetPlainText() method is not a return a simple text version of the HTML. Rather the returned text will preserve the layout of the original HTML content like tables, paragraphs etc. Cool isn&#8217;t it?<br />
<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Properties:</strong><br />
Lots of useful properties are there like Scrollbar visibility properties (GET/SET), Read Only property (GET/SET), Word Wrap property (GET/SET). Property available for choosing Single Line Break or Paragraph on Enter key response.<br />
<strong><em> </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>Operations</em></strong> composite property contains Methods associated with the toolbar items. That is, if you want to create a button of your own and give it the default copy functionality, you can invoke the Copy() method of this property.</p>
<p>The <strong><em>SelectionState</em></strong> property as its name goes deals with the editor&#8217;s content. Like getting the attributes of the editor items and also to determine the state of current selection. It has properties like, IsBold, IsHyperLinkSelected, IsImageSelected, IsItalic etc. It contains one of the important properties <strong><em>ActiveHTMLElement</em></strong> of type <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa752279%28VS.85%29.aspx" target="_blank">IHTMLElement</a>. This property gives you full programming control for getting the Active Element as Document Object Model and manipulating the Element (as a node).</p>
<p><strong>DataBinding:</strong><br />
For Data Binding purpose you can bind any data sets&#8217; string field to the editor&#8217;s BodyHtml or DocumentHtml properties. This will give you an excellent opportunity to use database models with the editor.</p>
<p><strong>Styling the Document:</strong><br />
Apart from the designer mode and you can change the body style of the document right from the editor both in the designer mode and from run time.<br />
Other exciting features include,</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li> Basic enough for even the most novice of users.</li>
<li> Optimized for Vista 64 bit OS.</li>
<li> Design time GUI Collection editor available for manipulating the properties of the toolbar items.</li>
<li> Easier interface to add new toolbar item.</li>
<li> HTML can be retrieve as plain old HTML, XHTML and XML</li>
<li> Generates clean &lt;span&gt; tags for font elements; (&lt;span<br />
style=&#8221;font-family:Verdana&#8221;&gt;text here..&lt;/span&gt; (not &lt;font face=&#8221;verdana&#8221;&gt;text<br />
here.&lt;/font&gt;)</li>
<li> GUI Dialog for Table Insert/Update</li>
<li> GUI Dialog for editing table cells.</li>
<li> GUI Search dialog; Search API is also available for implementing your own search user interfaces.</li>
</ul>
<p>If you want to give a try to this amazing editor control now you have the opportunity to download it from our website at <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proniit.co.za//goto/http://www.spicelogic.com/" target="_blank">http://www.SpiceLogic.com</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Every website is coded using a certain language and techniques to generate the wanted effect on the design of the site. The code of the website is what the search engines see when crawling your website rather than viewing the front end design that we see as users. It is essential that this code is build to meet coding standards to make it as easy as possible for search engines to crawl.</p>
<p>If there are errors within the code then search engines will have to skip that part of the code as they will be unable to read it. This can seriously effect the SEO results for your website as search engines like Google need to be able to read the whole thing in order to rank your site effectively in their database. If there are errors they may miss essential parts of your content that would improve ranking results.</p>
<p><span id="more-619"></span></p>

<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></p>
<p>The main coding standard is set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and their validator can help you determine if there are any errors in your code that need to be fixed. They will also detail what the exact errors are so you or your developers can get them fixed straight away.</p>
<p>W3C was started up 10 years ago by the inventor of the WWW Tim Berners-Lee and he still maintains his role in the consortium to oversee the new standards that are set for the latest coding languages.</p>
<p>If you are clearing your website to meet W3C standards you should ensure to select the correct level as appropriate to your website, otherwise you may need that errors do not match and cannot be fixed depending on how the code was written. Most websites will have a document header at the top of the code to tell the search engines which level you have cleared to so that they know in what language the Google Bot should then read the code in without coming across unnecessary errors.</p>
<p>WAI validation is another well known coding standard used by SEO companies to ensure that the site meets accessibility standards which are developed for internet users with disabilities. Usually you only need to clear your website to the first level of WAI compliancy which is required so that users can listen to what is written within an image alt tag if they cannot see the image itself. This is quite simple to do and is enough for most websites targeting the general public.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">With millions of web users searching for fresh content every now and then, it&#8217;s imperative to develop a domain name and get an edge over 95% of the affiliate marketers on the Internet. Based on the Domain Name System (DNS) a domain name is a recognition tag to define the border of administrative autonomy, authority, or control in the Internet. A domain name is like an ID where the visitors stop by and do business. What also adds to the list of advantages of developing a domain name are various networking contexts and application-specific naming for legitimate business purposes. No wonder, with passing time, more and more people are joining the domain development bandwagon.<br />
<span id="more-416"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Domain development is the future of generic and direct navigation domains. It has been a much observed fact that creating a domain name without knowledge can incur heavy financial blows. After all, while choosing a domain name on the Web people want to make the most profitable choice. Going by compunctions like good sounding domain names or individual preference is but a fool&#8217;s act to say the least. A domain name that is difficult to discover or recall back often get lost in the cyber crowd failing to bring home prospective business. A captivating, well researched, and keyword-rich domain name shows a good potential and is as good as money in the bank. It is important to possess substantial knowledge about the domain before opting or settling for one. The wise will have no such inhibitions, and will in fact, scrutinize the name thoroughly to ensure the precise fit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As for determining the value of the domain name is concerned an in-depth study of industry trends or the identification of a niche market is a good way to make a kick start and ensure the success of a domain name in the long run. It would be a wise decision to go with words that have a future rather than those words that are losing their prominence and also their importance. The best bet in this case is to opt for a Domain Name that will increase in value in the upcoming days. Quick research using the Google AdWords tool can be conducted to get a fair idea. Typing a particular term/ phrase in the popular search engines also let prospective domain owners have a look at the number of websites containing those terms. It is important to incorporate those words or phrases in the domain name that a particular site deals in. With single word domains becoming obsolete, domain owners are now banking on short and memorable phrases.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In some cases, the domains are registered and then parked on a server for future reservation. Domain parking is a common tactic to reserve names similar or relevant to the original and earn money on unused domains. The majority of domains lack rich content to drive in traffic. It is essential to put some great content in the parked blogs so that it is easily indexed by the various search engines. Besides drawing targeted traffic, these parked blogs help in the promotion of other websites, sell blog posts and text links and act as a steady source of income to the domain owners.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Remember, a small investment on domain development today ensures profit in the years to come.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>By now most web designers and developers know that JavaScript causes a real headache for search engine spiders. There are however a number of scripts which, whilst not absolutely essential to the functioning of a site, are nevertheless very handy. <strong>So where do you draw the line between keeping your page as search engine friendly as possible and including reams of JavaScript to achieve the desired effects?</strong><span id="more-403"></span></div>
<div>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
   google_ad_client = "pub-1580129458799088"; /* 468x60, created 6/14/09 */ google_ad_slot = "4252380589"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60;
// ]]&gt;</script><br />
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You may be surprised to learn that there is an alternative which keeps search engine spiders (reasonably) happy whilst drastically cutting down on the necessary scripts within any given web page.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>External JavaScript Source Files</strong><br />
Let&#8217;s take the humble <strong>&#8220;Add Bookmark&#8221;</strong> script as an example (please note that I have replaced the &lt; &gt; brackets with [ ] brackets so as to be able to display the code properly within this article).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>[script Language="JavaScript1.2" type="text/javascript"]<br />
var bookmarkurl = &#8220;http://www.doodademporium.com&#8221;;<br />
var bookmarktitle = &#8220;Purple Doodads for sale&#8221;;<br />
function addbookmark()<br />
{<br />
if (document.all)<br />
window.external.AddFavorite(bookmarkurl, bookmarktitle);<br />
}<br />
[/script]</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">By placing the script&#8217;s function into an external folder and file (/java/bookmark.js for example) you will be able to streamline your code down to the following:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>[script Language="JavaScript1.2" src="java/bookmark.js" type="text/javascript"][/script]</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It&#8217;s worth remembering that this is probably one of the simplest examples of JavaScript out there and that the savings in terms of code are going to be substantial with larger scripts.<br />
This method is also worth its weight in gold, so to speak, if you are running a number of scripts on the same page.<br />
Just remember to create a different source file for each script, so as not to confuse matters unnecessarily.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Through the use of external JavaScript files you not only save yourself having to write (or even copy/paste) the same bulky scripts again and again, you are also saving search engine spiders from becoming seriously disillusioned with your web page and going elsewhere in search of easier prey.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Always remember that any web site should make a search engine&#8217;s life as easy as possible.<br />
If you do use JavaScript in your pages, this approach will prevent unnecessary complications when having your site indexed, whilst at the same time easing your task of coding.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="text-align: justify;">For most PC users around the world, JavaScript is a formidable term. As Brian Kemp, a 28-year-old accountant from New York, says, &#8220;I&#8217;ve been using a PC for the past 18 years and the Internet for 10 years, and in all this time, I never felt the need to acquaint myself with JavaScript.&#8221; That was until his web browsing grew increasingly fraught with JavaScript errors cropping up every now and then. &#8220;Once I began reading up on JavaScript basics, I realized that it was not the exclusively technical territory that I had taken it to be,&#8221; admits Brian.Essentially, JavaScript is a web development language that is most commonly used on websites.</div>
<div><span id="more-401"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Popular among non-programmers for its user-friendly nature, JavaScript also allows scripting access to objects embedded in other applications. However, JavaScript errors are fairly common too, largely because so many amateurs write web development programs using it. The three most common reasons for your browser showing a JavaScript error message are a) JavaScript is not enabled in the browser; b) The browser does not support JavaScript technology; c) The web page contains a JavaScript programming error.</div>
<p style="text-align: center;"><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
 google_ad_client = "pub-1580129458799088"; /* 468x60, created 6/14/09 */ google_ad_slot = "4252380589"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60;
// ]]&gt;</script><br />
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></p>
<div>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Web programmer Patrick Hanmer says the best way to eliminate JavaScript errors would be to clean Windows Registry regularly. You say you know nothing of Windows Registry? You are not alone. The majority of PC users are unaware that the Registry is a huge internal database on your PC that monitors the running of your system. Therefore, whatever changes you make to the system reflect in the Registry. And when you are browsing the Net, you leave footprints in the Registry as well.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Explains Chris, &#8220;When you are viewing a web page that uses JavaScript, JavaScript is writing to Windows Registry, so that it records components that may be missing in the future, so you get a JavaScript error message when you view a web page.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Clear so far? Good, so you understand the value of Windows Registry cleaning when it comes to repairing JavaScript errors. I recommend downloading a user-friendly, reliable and reputable Registry cleaner, to ensure that your PC does not suffer additional damages when you clean the Registry (see my recommendation in the resource box below). Make no mistake, choosing the wrong Registry cleaner could well induct all kinds of malware into your system, so that you are left with a bigger headache than when you began the cleaning process.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The bottom line is that JavaScript is not the technical gobbledygook that you take it to be, and even better, you need not be a programming expert when it comes to repairing JavaScript errors. A simple installation of a reliable Registry cleaner will give you JavaScript error-free browsing.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>In the community of web developers and surfers, Javascript is highly popular as client side scripting language for web browsers. In any web application, javascript can be used to implement simple features like rollover of images as well as to make asynchronous requests to server using ajax. Few years back when flash was not so popular, javascript was widely used to add beautiful effects to webpages and is still being used for the same purpose. Let&#8217;s take a look at some of the features of this language.</div>
<div><span id="more-397"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
  google_ad_client = "pub-1580129458799088"; /* 468x60, created 6/14/09 */ google_ad_slot = "4252380589"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60;
// ]]&gt;</script><br />
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></div>
<div>
<p><strong>1) Browser support:</strong> To access flash content, you need to install flash plugin in your browser. But to use javascript, you don&#8217;t have to use any plugin at all. This is because all browsers have accepted javascript as a scripting language for them and provides integrated support for it. All you need to do is to handle some of the tasks that are dependent on DOM (Document Object Model) of different browsers properly.</p>
<p><strong>2) Can be used on client side as well as on server side:</strong> As javascript has access to Document object model of browser, you can actually change the structure of web pages at runtime. Due to this, javascript can be used to add different effects to webpages. On the other hand, javascript could be used on the server side as well. For example, in Alfresco which is a popular open source enterprise content management system, javascript is used in creating webscripts. This makes adding custom tasks to alfresco quite simple.</p>
<p><strong>3) Functional programming language:</strong> In javascript, function could be assigned to variables just like any other data types. Not only that, but a function can accept another function as a parameter and can also return a function. You can have functions with no name as well. Clearly, this gives you the ability to code in functional programming style.</p>
<p><strong>4) Support for objects:</strong> Javascript is an object oriented language. However, the way javascript handles objects and inheritance is bit different from conventional object oriented programming languages like Java. Due to this, javascript supports most of the object oriented concepts while being simple to learn and use.</p>
<p>These are some of the features that give javascript an ability to handle simple as well as complex tasks. Due to this, javascript has remained as the most popular programming language for a long time. It is also a good language for people who want to learn computer programming as it supports object oriented as well as function concepts and to use it, you just need a browser and a text editor.</p></div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Javascript is a client-side programming language whose processing engine is embedded in web browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc. This enables the processing engine to read and interpret web pages that contain the javascript code when browsing.Javascript first made an appearance in 1995, although by that time it was known as Livescript. This name was later changed to javascript.Javascript was invented to add more exciting features to HTML pages. HTML on it&#8217;s on is pretty boring and it cannot do much besides display a webpage. Javascript programming, on the other hand, can provide a host of exciting features like perform calculations, allows the user to interact with webpages, perform form validations, manipulate elements on a webpage, provide excellent visual effects, enables dynamic functions and so much more.</div>
<div>
<p><span id="more-393"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
    google_ad_client = "pub-1580129458799088"; /* 468x60, created 6/14/09 */ google_ad_slot = "4252380589"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60;
// ]]&gt;</script><br />
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript">
</script></p>
<p>All of this provides the user to the site with an enhanced user experience. Because javascript is a client-side language, all of these features are available in real time without the browser having to refer to the server all the time. This prevents time delays and increases user satisfaction.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s take a closer look at the great things you can do with javascript programming:</p>
<p><strong>Perform Calculations</strong></p>
<p>Javascript can be used to perform simple to advanced mathematical calculations. This is especially useful if you want your users to interact with your site by inputting some information that requires some sort of calculation and displaying the relevant content based on that result. For example, javascript can calculate a loan repayment and display the appropriate result if a user enters a required loan amount on the site. Furthermore, javascript can also tell date and time, time a certain activity and perform intricate date and time calculations.</p>
<p><strong>User Interaction</strong></p>
<p>The javascript on the webpage can take interaction from a user and perform a certain function by way events. Some of the most popular events are:</p>
<p>onblur<br />
onchange<br />
onclick<br />
ondblclick<br />
onfocus<br />
onkeydown<br />
onkeypress<br />
onkeyup<br />
onload<br />
onmousedown<br />
onmousemove<br />
onmouseout<br />
onmouseover<br />
onmouseup<br />
onselect<br />
onsubmit</p>
<p><strong>Perform Form Validations</strong></p>
<p>Javascript can validate and check user input to determine whether it conforms to a certain requirement. For example, you can check if a field is left empty, if an email address is in the proper format, if a zip code code is in the proper format, etc. In most cases, if an error is made by your site visitor, an alert can display the appropriate error message to him or her.</p>
<p><strong>Manipulate Elements On A Webpage</strong></p>
<p>Javascript allows a user to change content or styles of a webpage upon a user interaction by way of the aforementioned events. For example, hovering over a certain text can make an image appear, text on a submit button can change on submit, etc.</p>
<p><strong>Provide Visual Effects</strong></p>
<p>Javascript has a host of ways to provide visual effects to a webpage that other server-side programming languages cannot. A typical example of this might be some fancy image rollover buttons.</p>
<p><strong>Enables Dynamic Functions</strong></p>
<p>Javascript, together with AJAX (asynchronous JavaScript and XML), can be used to create dynamic applications. One example of this is to load dynamic content onto a webpage without refreshing the page.</p>
<p>In my next chapter, we will delve further into javascript programming.</p></div>
